Categories help customers find products and improve your store's SEO structure.
Creating Categories
- Navigate to Catalog → Categories → Add New
- Enter the category name and slug
- Optionally select a Parent Category to create a nested structure
- Upload a category image and set SEO fields
- Save the category
Category Tree
Categories support unlimited nesting depth. The storefront displays them as a tree in the navigation menu and product filter sidebar.
Assigning Products to Categories
A product can belong to multiple categories. Assign categories on the product edit page under the Categories tab.
